What Is a PWA?

A PWA is a website that works like a native app. Once installed, it appears on your home screen just like any other app. It launches in full screen, loads faster, and even works when your internet connection is unstable.

You will enjoy a fully immersive, full-screen experience without the distraction of browser tabs or address bars, allowing you to focus entirely on your puzzles. With quick access, you can launch the game instantly right from your home screen. Furthermore, the app works reliably even with an unstable connection; if your signal drops, you'll be greeted by a friendly offline page instead of a standard browser error. Best of all, there’s no need to visit an app store, as it installs directly from your browser in just a few seconds.

How to Install

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open the website in Google Chrome.
  2. You may see an automatic "Add to Home Screen" banner - just tap Install.
  3. If no banner appears: tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner.
  4. Select "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App".
  5. Tap Install to confirm.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

On iOS, you must use Safari - other browsers like Chrome or Firefox on iPhone do not support PWA installation.

  1. Open the website in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square icon with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. Tap Add in the top right corner.

Desktop (Chrome / Edge)

  1. Open the website in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
  2. Look for the install icon (⊕) in the address bar on the right side.
  3. Click it and confirm by clicking Install.

After Installation

Once installed, you'll find the app icon on your home screen. Tap it to launch - it will open in full-screen mode, just like a native app. All your progress, completed puzzles, and stats stay synced as usual since it's the same website, just with an app-like wrapper.
